Kate has been a very good match as a tutor for my daughter. My daughter is a teen who struggles with vocabulary and math practices, although she's an excellent student. Kate has a relaxed, calm approach to learning. However, she has an energy about her that keeps a teen like my daughter engaged and interested--this is not an easy task. Kate's been working with my daughter on preparing her for the SAT exam. My daughter is learning techniques and working through approaching math problems step by step so that she can think through a problem. She's becoming more diligent with her use of vocabulary with Kate's help. Kate give her assignments so she can put to practice what they work on and they're ready to review any questions the next time before moving on to the next thing. I'm really satisfied with my choice of tutor. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. Kate's also been very responsible in keeping to the schedule and flexible in changing a date here and there, if we need to. I would recommend Kate to anyone looking for a tutor for their son or daughter.
